Pépite Bakery – the gourmet gem in Paris 11th

Summary

A creative artisan bakery that elevates French classics with bold, sweet innovations.

Description

Located on the vibrant Boulevard Voltaire in Paris' 11th district, Pépite is an artisan bakery founded by Alice Lin in late 2022. After training at Le Cordon Bleu and earning a pâtisserie CAP, Alice brought experience from Le Meurice, Anne‑Sophie Pic, and L’Essentiel to craft a rich lineup of bread, viennoiseries, and pastries – all made on‑site using local, AOP flours and short supply chains.

The interior is bright, modern, and colorful, featuring a welcoming terrace. Signature items include the black sesame croissant – laminated and filled with sesame cream and ganache – frequently offered at €1 during special events instead of €4.50.

The menu blends tradition and innovation: baguettes from €1, butter croissants €1.50, matcha rolls €3.90, individual pastries €4.20–7.00, and entremets up to €52 for eight. Savoury options include lunch sets from €10.90, quiches, poké bowls, filled croissants, and foccacias. On weekends, the chef showcases a special bread recipe.

The atmosphere is cozy and trendy, attracting locals, curious foodies, families, and office goers. With a warm décor and friendly staff, the spot doubles as a relaxed tea‑room experience.

Unique features include an annual €1 black sesame croissant day, and creative treats like matcha‑mochi cookies, carrot cake, black sesame flan, and egg‑tarts in matcha or vanilla.
