An intimate, scenographic theatre in Paris’ 11th district: comedy, music and live shows in a vibrant setting.
Description
The Le Passage to the Stars Theatre is a Parisian live performance venue located at 17 cité Joly in the vibrant 11th arrondissement, close to Saint‑Maur, Oberkampf and Père‑Lachaise districts. Founded in November 2005 by Frank Maillol, the theatre emerged after the success of the "Meuf Show" and welcomes a diversity of artistic forms including contemporary and classic theatre, music, dance, and young audience shows.
The venue offers two complementary auditoriums: Le Passage, the small 70‑seat space perfect for intimate dramas and solo acts, and Les Étoiles, a larger auditorium of 200 seats equipped with a Pleyel piano, ETC lighting console, and Yamaha sound system. Stage widths range from about 6.5 m to 8 m, fitting a range of performance styles.
Its programming is eclectic and dynamic, featuring boulevard comedy, children’s theatre, interactive performances, improvisation, poetry, and concerts. Recent or upcoming productions include Les femmes ont toujours raison… (September 2021–January 2026), Les femmes sont parfaites… (September 2025–January 2026), and Cendrillon in July 2025.
