Located on a barge moored at the foot of the Pont des Invalides, Fluctuart is the world’s first floating urban art centre. Opened in spring 2019 as part of the “Reinvent the Seine” initiative, it was co-founded by urban art enthusiasts led by Nicolas Laugero Lasserre.

Spanning approximately 1,000 m² across three transparent levels, the centre hosts a permanent street art collection showcasing pioneers like Obey, Seth, Jef Aérosol, Vhils or Banksy, plus three to four temporary exhibitions annually, including immersive installations by emerging and established artists.

The ground floor also features a specialist bookshop and a friendly bar/snack area. A 300 m² rooftop terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Grand Palais, Trocadéro and Eiffel Tower—ideal for relaxing by the Seine. In summer, it extends onto the quayside for musical or sunset apéritif events.

Fluctuart also offers creative workshops for kids and adults (book in advance), and free guided tours on weekends at 12:30, 14:30, 16:30, and 18:30, with Smartify app support to explore the permanent collection.

The atmosphere blends art and accessibility—it feels like a cultural hub or third-place, inviting curious locals, tourists, families and street art enthusiasts. The modern design, full-height windows and daylight-filled interiors create a vibrant immersive experience.

As a fun fact, Fluctuart participated in Paris’s 2025 Nuit Blanche with a free immersive art installation, reinforcing its role as a cultural innovator.

Practical info: accessible via metro (Invalides lines 8 & 13; Champs‑Élysées Clémenceau; Franklin D. Roosevelt), Vélib or nearby Q‑Park car park. Fully wheelchair-accessible. Hours vary by season: winter (Wed–Sun 12 pm–2 am), summer (daily from noon until 2 am).

Fluctuart can also be privatised for corporate events (seminars, conferences, parties up to 500 people), combining striking views, contemporary design and street art ambiance.
